Japan-America Society of Greater Austin Presents: Doge ATX Parade (Free)
"The Doge ATX Parade will feature a selection of Austin-area Shibas, in addition to language instructions with Kazki Watanabe, author of “Japanese for Dogs.” Plus a special tea ceremony presented by Chado Austin, and an Origami class! All dogs must be leashed, and Shiba Inus that appear in the parade must be registered."

"A forum for candidates running for Austin City Council and Mayor, seats in Travis and Williamson Counties, the Texas House of Representatives, as well as ACC and AISD school boards" to speak to their plans for supporting the Central Texas AAPI community.
